Day Hikes on the Pacific Crest Trail - California

The 2,665-mile PCT travel through some of the most spectacular scenery in the United States. Adopted by Congress as a National Scenic Trail, the PCT begins near the Mexican border and ends seven miles north of the Canadian border. Each year, many people backpack the entire trail, while others backpack long parts of it.

This trail guidebook offers another option, shorter day hikes ranging in length from 2.3 miles to over 25 miles and, in total, cover 1,491 miles of the 1,723 miles of the PCT extending from the Mexican border in southern California to Siskiyou Pass in southern Oregon.
